The practice of Reiki is not only a wonderful and useful healing tool, but also a meaningful step in your own self-growth and ability to be an anchor for light and healing in the world. Reiki is simple, yet profound, opens you up to the flow of healing energy from the universe, and can be used for self, others, plants, animals, or even places or situations. It ability to heal is virtually limitless, it requires no special tools, and it heals and energizes you as you use it. While there are now many schools of Reiki, Usui Reiki is the original lineage, carried down directly from Mikao Usui, the founder of this practice.
In level one, we learn what Reiki is, where it came from, and how and when to use it, focusing on the techniques and symbol for bringing healing to the physical body. We will also practice sensing energy and spend time getting hands-on practice. By the end of our time together, you will feel ready to bring the practice of Reiki into your life, offering healing to yourself, your loved ones and the world at large.

Cost: $200
What to bring: Please bring water, lunch/snacks, loose, comfortable clothing, a notebook and a pen. You may also bring something to add to our altar for the duration of the class.

Reiki Level 2
In this class, we will take the next steps on the Reiki path, learn new symbols that support healing on the emotional level and discuss how to use Reiki for distance healing. Participants will deepen their understanding and skills, get hands-on time to practice and build comfort and confidence using Reiki in their personal and professional lives.

Energy Awareness and Reiki Playshop, ages 9-12
In this fun and experiential class designed especially for kids, we will playfully explore our abilities to sense energy and use expanded awareness. We will also discuss the history and use of Reiki, and talk about why it is such a powerful tool for healing. Participants will be invited to try out using Reiki and their ability to sense energy in a supportive, low-pressure and non-judgemental environment.
